What a fun time we had.

Well I am finally rested after the big event (Jerry probably is still not rested yet, as he was stuck with most of the clean up). We sure did enjoy getting to see everyone having a good time and especially the kids playing. Though it wasn't really a reunion, it really brought back memories of when we were kids and everyone playing at all the family get togethers we had in Bogata and here in Paris.

You know we really should get together more often as it seems families do not really spend the time to love one another as we did growing up. If we are not careful a generation will come and go and not know who they are and where they came from. It is up to us not to let that happen. Everyone needs the love and care that family gives.

It was good to see those there that were not of the Sulsar genetics and hope you come again next time

It seems as though us Northeast Texans may have some cajun in us from the amount of mudbugs that we consumed (70 pounds). We also cooked approximatley 72 half ears of corn, 15 pounds of potatos, 1 bag of onions, do not know how many mushrooms, 8 or so lemons, 8 pounds of smoked sausage, lots of garlic, 30 plus smoked chicken leg and thigh quarters. 10 pounds of chicken strips, crawfish etoufee, jambalaya, and lots of desserts to name a few things. I am getting ready for another one just typing this.

If anyone has suggestions on next years party ....let Jerry or me know and we will try to accommodate (no you can not borrow any money).

It was fun and great to see everyone!

We'll tell more about the great time we had in the next post, but for now, go to http://www.walmart.com/ and click photos. If you didn't pick up a card with the username and password, send me an email or call and we'll be sure you get one. Feel free to upload any pictures you have taken as well.

That being said for now, here a few first thoughts.

Other than a few weak chairs (has to be weak chairs) and over aggressive volleyball playing no injuries were brought to our attention.
I think the kids and big kids had a great time.

Remember our motto : If you don't overdo it, don"t do it.!!

Thanks to Jerry and Paula for the gracious use of their home.
